It's just the two of them\r\nthis time, and as such, Oh Brother marks a distinctive new chapter for\r\nthe California rock band - one that is both introspective and\r\naccessible, all while maintaining their beloved sense of sincerity.\r\nOh Brother steers Dawes decidedly forward, honoring 15 years of\r\nTaylor and Griffin's musical relationship, as well as the next era of their\r\nband. Each of the nine songs began with just Taylor on guitar and\r\nvocals and Griffin on drums. They initially tracked each one live\r\ntogether, before adding in additional instrumentation and collaborating\r\nwith touring guitarist Trevor Menear in the studio. Additionally, Oh\r\nBrother is the first record the brothers have co-produced, working\r\nalongside longtime friend Mike Viola.\r\nAt this point in the Goldsmith's career, Dawes has cemented itself as\r\none of the most earnest, no-bullshit musical acts out there. They're a\r\nband that can move seamlessly between folk rock, piano ballads, and\r\nsprawling jams while maintaining both an immediately recognizable\r\nsound and a freedom from expectations. Even as the Goldsmith\r\nbrothers navigates new chapters in their personal and professional\r\nlives, Oh Brother shows how they remain creative, ambitious, and\r\ninspired - what it means to be lifers in a band together.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Alliance Entertainment","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":54875993145690,"sku":"7677308087757","price":9.1,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0977\/2692\/3098\/files\/4365651-3225963.jpg?v=1790666871","url":"https:\/\/groovedeck.shop\/products\/dawes-oh-brother-turmeric-vinyl","provider":"My Store","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
